The Madison Method is an exciting new model for the design and construction industry. Founder, Laura Kay Dunbar, true to her entrepreneurial spirit, saw the recent recession as an opportunity for an old concept to re-emerge. As a licensed Architect running a small firm, she began looking for a different approach and new direction in her field. Laura’s passion for design and detail inspired her to create an alternative to the typical remodel and home improvement process. With her architecture license and a newly obtained general contractor’s license, she formed The Madison Method, as a new perspective in design and construction.
With these qualifications and areas of expertise, The Madison Method, is able to incorporate design and cost effectiveness into every project, from a simple detail to the reconfiguration of space. We have a project delivery model that integrates design, handles project development and management, cost analysis and priority planning along with full construction management. Using these capabilities and using a team approach, we have the unique opportunity to streamline and simplify the sometimes frustrating, home improvement experience by offering a Method through the madness of remodeling.
The Madison Method embraces small projects, upgrades and repairs with as much design and detail as large remodels. In the current economy, construction and design have to be more cost effective and efficient. Today’s projects may be smaller but no less important and just as valuable to the improvement of the home. With this understanding, The Madison Method meets that need by offering the opportunity to integrate design development coupled with a systems approach to the construction process ensuring success of each project no matter the size.
